Will Atlas Shrug?

Social welfare, commerce welfare, industry welfare. Production is at an all time low. We are involved in a world war. We are involved in a cold war (definition needed). We are being undersold by China which is selling bootleg versions our our products. The unions are killing our industry. And soon Obama's higher taxes will chase businesses and entrepenuers away.

With Atlas baring the weight of the world on his shoulders. How long before he shrugs us off and lets us roll away into oblivion?

Love,

J.

Commentary Book Writers… Really?

Have you ever noticed that guys like Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter (the woman; not the dude at the drag show you attend bi-monthly), David Limbaugh, Pat Buchanan, Dick Morris, and many more seem to have a new book out every year and often just in time for the Holidays? What could they possibly have to say every fucking year? What help could they possibly fucking be on an annual basis? I know...

We are surrounded by people who lack critical thinking skills and are too lazy to hit the book store or library for their own source materials; to read and study and make up their own fucking minds! And I am not just picking on the right either. Nope. No fuckin’ way! I mean, Barak Obama? What the fuck??? He ran on a platform of NOTHING!!! Holy shit! He’s the Pied Piper, hallelujah, where’d all the kids go? No the Pied Piper at least got rid of the rats. Obama has invited the old rats into the White House (Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State; Wow she’s about to find out the Condi Rice is a hard act to follow). McCain had a solid campaign! He got up there and said… Oh shit, I’m not sure. Maybe I should turn up my fuckin’ hearing aid (too much rock’n’roll music, GODDAMNITT!). How many times have we heard Barak Obama say, "Wait... What I said was..." followed by a goddamn lie? Barak Obama supports late term abortions and not the one that put the mother in harms way, no, he supports late term abortions for women who wait until their third trimester to terminate the life of their living, learning baby.

We as a society are walking a fine line. Sure, George W. Bush was by no means a great president but at least he had a platform that didn’t wane with the latest poles. We live in a society that terminates the lives of unwanted babies doomed to live in poverty (see eugenics movement, see NAZI Germany). Instead of educating kids that condoms are not 100% and when you put you penis in a woman’s vagina with or without a jacket there is a good chance you can impregnate her! Makin' ‘em is fun! Yes! But then you have to take some form of responsibility for the kid you sired. For the girls, tell the boys, "No!" You are too young to enjoy sex anyway. Plus, they can always find a private place to beat their meat like it owes them money.

Love,

J.

P.S. I got married.

My Uncle and the Glass Boot

My dear Uncle loved his boot. He found it one morning while riding out in the desert between what is now Kingman, AZ and Flagstaff, AZ. He was riding his best horse, Roly Poly, up Hardmans bluff when he saw a boot upright with the bones of a lower leg sticking up out of the boot.
He pulled the bones out from the boot and buried them at the top of the bluff. Being a devout Catholic and a true follower of the teachings of Cathol he said a short prayer. He erected a small cross with the words, "One mans leg," carved into the horizontal board. My uncle liked to drink beer and used this glass boot for that purpose. But...
...there was a problem. The man who's lower leg my uncle found was still alive and Jewish. My uncle immediatley developed a taste for finer beers and wines. He also became quite a dancer.
One morning he was cooking scrambled eggs and humming hava nagila. I miss him. We buried him at dusk per his request.

One day an old man, the man who's leg was buried by my uncle, came back for the glass boot. I told him to go to hell and he limped away. I thought I heard him crying a little as he limped away so I turned on the lawn sprinklers.

McCain? Why not?

Why not? What's the alternative? Obama or Clinton. A giant douche or a wicked witch. A smooth talking socialist who causes young men and women to ejaculate with the celerity of the devil himself or a broom riding Lilith eating babies and enforcing bureaucracy with a tiered system of fines.

The question is, and ask it loud and proud, What the fuck?

Twenty years ago if you were to ask the common man or woman on the street, "Would you like to vote for a socialist?" He or she would say, "Get outta my face, pinko!" Now they say, "Yeah coz da 'conomy be bad an' da evil corporation be killin' da common man. We need to tax dem 'till the common man be equal. I want munny." Settle down Beavis. What Beavis will fail to connect is that he is employed by an evil corporation, buys his goods from an evil corporation that coordinated those goods to be available at a lower price in his region, the taxes will be passed down to the buyer as the evil corporation packs its shit and moves to a country that will embrace the evil corporation's innovativeness, commerce, and need of a workforce, and when the evil corporations abandon the United States the common man will be forced to get off his ass and work. The common man will have to sweat, bleed, work weekends, and stress in order to lift himself and his family above the squaller that will follow the fall of the American Dream.

During the Great Depression, a man fought my great-grandfather for a jar of peanut butter. Following Hurricane Charlie, I man tried to start a fight with me for the last two-pack of unsalted butter (I let him have it; he had a child and probably needed it more than me).

Squaller will turn us into savages. During the Great Depression the Ku Klux Klan hit its peak membership and maintained high numbers for years, attracting such sycophantic scrubs as Senator Byrd of Virginia and the late Strom Thurman (both later disavowed the Klan but they are master politicians so the hell with them).

Feeding the donkey

When I was a kid my father would take Daniel and I for walks and hikes at La Purisima Mission in Lompoc, California. We would bring our rat terrier who would chase jack-rabbits in and out of the cacti and sage bushes. We would hike up to a cross erected at the top of a hill, then down to a couple spring fed ponds, and then round the property of the mission. We were there so often we knew the park rangers and were allowed to stay after hours and sometimes feed the cows, bulls, pigs, and horses. We usually didn't feed the goats and sheep because they shit everywhere and goats are assholes. We were allowed to sit on the still operational fountains were we would clean our hands off after petting the pigs (they were usually covered with mud and hay.

On our way out Daniel and I would always stop to feed the donkey. The donkey was very particular about what he ate. He didn't eat weeds he liked grass with long stalks but the problem is he was locked in a field with horses, cows, ponies, and a bull. These animals tend not to leave any grass with long stalks. Daniel and I would collect long stalks of grass during the walk to feed the donkey. He loved us. He got so comfortable he would even nod toward long stalks of grass near us but out of reach for him as if looking for a reason to keep us around. He would bay and nag as we would leave. Once he even grabbed Daniels sweatshirt with his teeth as we were walking away.

I didn't mind feeding that donkey because I fed him on my own terms. Now we have an election coming and two donkeys pushing mandates to make me feed them on their terms. I can't stand government mandates that fall outside of basic civility.

Global Warmists have their heads in the sand

Global Warmists are silly in there altruistic ideals. The only way to create a world that doesn't pollute and destroy the environment is to have a huge war and kill all those who pollute and institute laws world wide. That will never happen so it is to be expected that developing nations will pollute the shit out of their rivers. On trains in India if you have to defecate, you do this into a hole which opens to the tracks. This means any journey that takes you near train tracks in India is going to fill your nostrils with the odor of sewage. Yes, the third world is dirty, filthy and downright shitty! Pun intended.
China insists that they can seed rain clouds to cause rain… Well, I guess if seeding clouds is what you want to call it. Here in the guilt ridden western world we would call it pouring exhaust and chemicals out of smoke stacks causing acid rain for hundreds of miles, then, OK we get it.

In Europe, the forests have all but disappeared but their developed and feel the guilt so bad they are paying guilt extortion checks to carbon-footprint companies owned by the profit Al Gore. (I meant PROFIT!) They do use nuclear power which is nice but ignorant assholes have a fear nuclear power here in the States.
In Africa, well what can I say? Africa is possibly the most fucked up place on the planet.

The reason I mention all these places is, Global Warming is a stupid excuse for environmentalists to hide their heads in the sand while driving a Prius with a pretentious bumper-sticker about being an environmentalist and a hate Bush sticker. Rather than really doing something about the environment in their local area. Here in Central Florida we are cutting down forests to build yuppie housing, and cookie cutter shopping malls. By the way, these yuppie housing places and shopping malls are directly contributing to the pollution of the Florida Everglades.

So local tree hugging, bike riding, tye-dye wearing, slam poetry reading, George W. Bush hating, numbskulls, hackie-sacking, stop telling the developing world what to do and take action in your own backyard.

We are cutting down forests, there are invasive species of plant and animal, highways that kill wildlife, displaced black bears, disappearing panthers and the list goes on and on.

One more thing, Birkenstocks are not considered dress shoes.
